What is the minimum order?

How fast will my placemats arrive?

Paper, laminate, vinyl or textile?

Accepted Answer

Four different products sharing one word, and buying the wrong one is the expensive mistake here. Paper for single service at volume; laminate for a year of wiping in lighter use; vinyl where mats face hot plates and daily washing for years; textile and leather-look where the mat is part of the room. Why do laminated mats peel?

Accepted Answer

Because a cut laminate edge is a raw sandwich and moisture gets between the layers there first. Sealed or radiused edges with a bonded margin beyond the print remove the entry point — and that single detail is the difference between a mat that lasts a year and one that lasts a month.

Question 5

Can hot plates go straight onto a placemat?

Accepted Answer

Onto vinyl or a textile setting, yes. Onto a laminated mat, no — it marks and bubbles, and no supplier should sell you a wipe-clean mat as a heat mat. We ask about hot service ware before quoting for exactly this reason.

Question 6

How many do we need?

Accepted Answer

Count covers, not tables. Covers per service multiplied by the days of stock you want to hold, plus a margin for the busy week. Ordering against table count is the usual way a group runs short mid-week and reorders in a panic.

Question 7

Why print the kids’ activity side so lightly?

Accepted Answer

So crayon and pencil show on top of it. A dark, heavily-inked mat proofs beautifully and fails on the table, because the child colours over black and nothing appears. Light coverage on the activity side is a functional decision, not a design preference.

Do you make tablecloths, runners, napkins or food wrap?
